It is refreshing to hear about an organization such as Village Markets of Africa! Most fair trade items can be cost prohibitive to purchase and the flow of money is not transparent in the least. Fair trade seems to be a catch phrase that is tossed around as a marketing tactic. Village Markets of Africa is the better alternative because it is transparent, goes above and beyond what is required, and still keeps consumer costs low enough to make the decision to buy fair trade an easy one! I’m going to see if my church can get one of the church fundraiser kits I saw on the website.

    Thanks Village Markets of Africa!
